Medical Director

In 2001 Dr. Leo signed up to serve the community of Grand-Bois as Primary Physician. He started by coming to see patients in Grand-Bois once a month for two weeks in the makeshift “clinic” in the back of the local St. Pierre Church.

Since opening its doors in June 2005, Dr. Leo has lived at the St. Vincent de Paul Health Center, serving as Medical Director and  educating the community in hygiene, clean water, agronomy, and so much more.

Dr. Marie Ange Ulysse

Dr. Marie Ange Ulysse

Assistant Medical Doctor

Dr. Marie Ange Ulysse was born in Cornillon, Haiti. She completed her primary and secondary studies in Port-au-Prince and then was admitted to the University of Santiago of Cuba, where she obtained her medical degree in August 2008.
                                                        She began working at the St. Vincent de Paul Health Center in October 2010 as a Physician.
André Fritz Jean Louis

André Fritz Jean Louis

Chief Operating Officer

André Fritz Jean Louis, commonly called Jean Louis, was born in Saut-d’Eau (located in the Center Department of Haiti). In 1997, he graduated as an Agricultural Technician at the Technological Institute of Tropical
Agriculture and Horticulture (ITAHT). Between 2000 and 2004, he studied Social Work at the Faculty of Human Sciences of the State University of Haiti.
                                                  Married and father of two children, Jean Louis has worked at ServeHAITI from 2008 as a social worker, then as Community Health Director before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer in October 2022.

Ron Apollon

Ron Apollon

Organizational Director

Ron is a native of Haiti who now serves as Organizational Director and is responsible for communicating with our Haitian staff daily, and for reporting issues and project updates to the board. He also oversees the various committees of the organization in the US.

Ron is also the Director of The Last Defense Goalkeeping Academy (LDGA), and President of the Haitian American Soccer Coaches Association (HASCA), a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of Haitian soccer players and coaches.

Ron holds a Bachelors degree from New York Institute of Technology and worked for 20 years in the Telecommunications field before pursuing coaching and managing in the sports arena.
